Holmes School In Darien Teaches History Through Portraits Of America

DARIEN, Conn. -- Fourth-graders at Holmes Elementary School recently learned about paintings from the southeast region of the United States during a Portraits of America presentation in their classroom.

Portraits of America is an enrichment program that uses reproductions of famous works of art to reinforce concepts introduced in the social studies curriculum.
