Norwalk Community College Students, Faculty Volunteer At Darien Charity

Volunteers from NCC worked at the Carver Foundation of Norwalk Inc., the Norwalk Housing Authority and Person to Person of Darien.

The week-long series of public service activities initiated by the public colleges and universities around the state, culminated in “National Make a Difference Day" on Oct.25, a day to highlight the diverse number of community involvement efforts ongoing throughout the year that promote civic engagement, develop students’ citizenship skills, forge community partnerships and integrate service learning.
