DARIEN, Conn. -- Middlesex Middle School principal Debi Boccanfuso informed the school district Tuesday of her pending retirement, reported the Darien Times.

The announcement by Superintendent Dan Brenner was made during the Board of Education meeting, according to the Darien Times.
