Royle Celebrates New School Year With Parade Of Scholars

DARIEN, Conn. -- Royle Elementary School in Darien celebrated the start of a new year on Thursday with its fourth consecutive Parade of Learners.

Principal Dean Ketchum led the march on Thursday morning to kick off the new year. Special guests included First Selectman Jayme Stevenson and Sen. Bob Duff. 

Starting with the kindergarteners, each class and grade marched through the front doors and embarked on a new school year.
