Parents attending the event should be aware that parking at the high school is limited. Carpooling is strongly encouraged.

Due to the large amount of expected traffic, it will be necessary to limit vehicular access to the high school campus, police said.

As of 6 p.m. Thursday, access to the high school will be via the Noroton Avenue entrance only. High School Lane and Nutmeg Lane will be closed to traffic entering the high school.

Darien Police officers and Darien High School security personnel will be on-hand to assist with parking.

There may also be a significant traffic delay leading up to the start time. It will also be necessary to strictly enforce no parking regulations in order to allow the movement of vehicles at the end of the event.
