Darien Arts Center Hosts Annual Martial Arts Tourney

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Arts Center held its fourth annual Martial Arts Tournament, which draws competitors from around the region, on Sunday, March 29.

In addition to hosting and producing this annual event, the DAC offers a full range of martial arts classes for beginners through advanced, and from small children to adults.

The DAC's senseis James Gombos and Bonnie Gombos, organizers of the tournament, are fourth-degree black belts in the art of Shaolin Kempo Karate and have been studying various types of martial arts for more than 20 years.
