Darien Athletes Earn All-League Honors

DARIEN, Conn. – Three Darien High School field hockey players earned first team honors in selections announced by the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference.

Kat Huber, Julia Cobb and Galen Rohn earned first team honors for the Blue Wave, which finished undefeated during the league regular season. Lilly Cassidy won All-East honors.

In volleyball, Kate Stueber and Charlett Stevenson earned first team honors. Kelly Kosnik was named to the third team, and Nina Preston was an honorable mention selection.

Caity Dee and Marieke Bravo earned first team honors in girls soccer. Dillon Schoen was named to the All-FCIAC second team. In boys soccer, Elliot Helgans and Brennan Branco were first-team selections. Spencer McMullin and Geoff Hubbard were all-East choices.

Olivia Leunis made All-FCIAC in girls swimming, while Amanda Bieler, Caroline Ashcroft and Julie Stobbie were second team selections.

In cross country, Michael Johnston, Charlie Baird, Marshall Huffman and Alex Ostberg were named to the first team, and Peter Kreuch and Michael and Eli Converse were named to the second team. Grace Loh earned first team honors on the girls squad. McKinley Stauffer and Ellen Baver made the second team.
