Darien Finishes 21st Nationally In MaxPreps Cup Rankings Of Top Programs

DARIEN, Conn. – Darien came in 21st in the MaxPreps Cup standings, which recognizes the best overall high school sports programs in the country.

Darien ranked 21st on the MaxPreps Cup national standings. Darien won state titles for boys cross country, girls swimming, boys lacrosse and girls lacrosse.

The CBS MaxPreps Cup national rankings are compiled by awarding schools points for finishing first or second at the state or association level. Points are also awarded for size of playoff division, size of state and type of sport.
