Greenwich is always a good team. We knew it was going to be a battle, and they fought to the very end, said Darien assistant coach Burt Takesue. We stayed strong and aggressive and consistently played as a team. We were able to capitalize on their errors, and they did not make a lot.
Darien will next play at Staples High School at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
