Darien HS Boys' Hockey Holding Fundraiser For ALS Research

DARIEN, Conn. – The Darien High School boys' hockey team will hold a fundraiser for ALS research during their game against New Canaan on Saturday, Jan. 16, at 3:50 p.m. at the Darien Ice Rink.

The initiative is part of a two-week group effort between boys' and girls' hockey teams in Fairfield County to raise funds for the ALS Therapy Development Institute in honor of a family in Wilton.

Almost 30 games are being played between Jan. 9 and 23, with a goal to raise $100,000 by the end of the fundraiser.
