Darien Y travel and house teams combined for a first place finish at level six as well as a second place finish at level five and level seven.
In the individual competition, Anna Altier, Nadia Borja, Lana Schmidt, Annsley Martin and Victoria Ware each won all-around titles. Martin was the sole level nine contender for the team. She swept the competition, finishing first place on all four apparatuses– vault, bars, beam and floor.
Level seven:
14-15 year-old age group: Jane Ogden placed second, with a first place finish on beam.
11-13 year-old age group: Schmidt finished at the top of level seven, placing first on beam and floor. Teammate Tess Keating placed third on beam.
12-year-old age group: Dillan Aysseh, Holly McGoldrick and Lindsay Hall placed second, third and fifth overall.
9-11 year-old age group: Victoria Ware and Kate Wolters finished first and second in the all-around competition. Sommer Schmidt, still recovering from a hand injury, was not able to compete on vault or bars, but placed fourth with a 9.35 on beam and sixth with a 9.4 on floor.
Level five:
Emma Neaderland led the way in the 12-year-old category with first place finishes on vault and floor.
Lucy Collins placed second on vault with a 9.25.
Caterina Pye, Isabella DeStefano, Gabriela Pye, Nima Rahbar, Saskia Chermayeff, Megan Mitchell and Audrey Ridder comprised seven of the top ten gymnasts in the 11-year-old category.
Isabella DeStefano and Gabriela Pye tied with 9.5 on vault. The youngest level five gymnasts –Borja, Abigail Nevin, Sofia DeStefano, Anna Moss and Melina Cardini – swept the top five spots in the 9-10 year-old category. Borja and Abigail Nevin split first place finishes in four individual events.
