DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien girls youth lacrosse 8A team recently secured the CONNY state championship with a 12-11 win over Greenwich.

The Darien team advanced to the championship game by defeating Wilton.

The Darien team is made up of: Lindsey Ferreira, Natalie Wittstock, Natalie Boston, Charlotte Harmon, Emma Jacques, Sally Cassidy, Bella Litt, Eva Baurmeister, Lauren Jennings, Katie Ramsay, Head Coach Ciara Thurlow, Sydney Schrenker, Emma Alpaugh, Izzy Montanaro, Abigail Cragin, Hailey Meier, Coach Margot Krotee, Coach Allison McDermott, Alexandra Eades, Kendall Wisinski, Christine Fiore, Sara Moorhead, and Kathleen Tropsa.
