The team, which consists of girls from Norwalk, Darien, and Weston, won all three of its seeding games against New Milford, New Fairfield and Pomperaug to secure the top seed going into the Sundays elimination round.

The Angels then defeated Pomperaug again in the semifinal game to set the stage for a championship showdown against the Fairfield Fury.

The Angels found themselves down 6-0 and 7-1 during the course of the championship game. However, they managed to keep the Fury at bay while chipping away for an exciting 8-7 comeback for the win and 2014 FCFSL Championship title
