DARIEN, Conn. Darien Highs girls track team was removed as the winner of the Class L indoor championships when a scoring error was noticed in preparing for Saturdays State Open.
An error in the pole vault results reported at the meet was discovered while the seeding for the open was being completed, according to the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference. The error allowed Windsor to edge ahead of Darien to earn team honors. Windsor finished with 71 points, while Darien had 70.
