Temps To Drop This Week After Warm, Rainy Monday In Darien

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Unseasonably warm temperatures will accompany the rainy weather in Fairfield County on Monday, though the skies will clear up and temperatures will drop to more normal levels for the rest of this week.

Monday will see showers throughout the day and possibly a thunderstorm after noon, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures up to 63 can be expected in the morning, though a cold front approaching later in the day could drop the temperature down to around 58. 

Showers will continue into the evening, mostly clearing before 7 p.m. The rest of the night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 37.

Tuesday will be partly sunny, with a  51, which is a few degrees shy of normal. Tuesday night will see a 20 percent chance of rain before 11 p.m., but will otherwise be mostly cloudy, with a low around 35.

The cool temperatures will persist into Wednesday, which will be partly sunny with a high near 50. Wednesday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 36.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, with a high near 53. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 38.

It will be mostly sunny on Friday, when the high will be near 47. Friday night will be mostly clear, with a low around 23.
