DARIEN, Conn. -- Former Darien business owner Edward Tunick donated the remaining tuxedo inventory from his store that closed last month in Norton Heights Shopping Center.
The inventory which consisted of jackets, pants, shirts, vests, cummerbund sets and shoes.
In making the donation, Tunick hopes that individuals who might not be able to afford formal attire for events like school dances or the upcoming spring prom season will now have the opportunity to acquire such items.
At the same time, Tunick donated the remaining inventory of Darien T-shirts and sweatshirts which he carried in the store.
