DARIEN, Conn. – The annual gala to benefit Shakespeare on the Sound in Rowayton will be held on Saturday, April 18, in Darien.
The gala will honor the following people who founded the Rowayton outdoor theater two decades ago:

- Susan Reed Basche
- Dorsey Gude
- Lucy Hurd
- Tim Massad
- Megan Crowley McAllister
- Adrienne Southworth
- Steven Southworth
- Andrew Woolford
“Our gala tends to be a quirky kind of fun evening,” said Leslie Lawrence, gala committee chairwoman, in a press release. “After all we’re a theater.”
The 20th Anniversary Gala of Shakespeare on the Sound will be held at the Wee Burn Country Club, 410 Hollow Tree Ridge Road, Darien.
The evening will include cocktails, dinner, dancing, auctions, and a live performance from The Merlin Band.
Tickets range from $220 to $500.
Tables for 10 people are available for $3,000 to $5,000.
