The Inn, Waveny's senior living retirement community, celebrated over three decades of service with a birthday clambake on Thursday, August 18. The public was invited to celebrate with residents of The Inn and enjoy fresh seafood specials prepared on-site, including lobster rolls, clams casino, steamer buckets and more. The Inn also hosted a craft beer station with an assortment of hand-selected beverages from small local breweries.
“As we celebrate this landmark year, we reflect upon 35 years of community support with deep gratitude,” said Kristin Sinatra, Waveny’s Director of Marketing. “This is a wonderful opportunity for us to say ‘thank you’ to our friends, families, supporters and the greater community as a whole for supporting The Inn and its mission.”
The Inn welcomed nearly 200 guests to the 35-year celebration including families, friends, staff and volunteers.
