DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien YMCA's Y Cares Club of middle school and high school students met at the Y to complete a number of charitable holiday projects on Saturday, Dec. 5.

Photo Credit: ContributedThe group’s activities included making cards for American service personnel, and tree garland for the Darien Nature Center.
They also put up the Darien YMCA holiday giving tree, and will be collecting new and gently used gloves, hats and mittens for the Bridgeport YMCA emergency shelter until Monday, December 21.
Donations can be made at the Darien Y lobby in a box next to the tree.
