DARIEN, Conn. – Houlihan Lawrence, the leading real estate brokerage in Darien, has announced the addition of real estate salesperson Diane Farrell to its office at 780 Post Road.
Farrell has been a resident of Darien for over 20 years and brings extensive market knowledge and experience to the role.
Farrell comes to Houlihan Lawrence with an established skillset as a sales and marketing professional. She was an advertising sales executive in New York City and Fairfield County prior to establishing her Darien-based marketing and public relations business, Farrell Marketing and Media. Her clients have included the Darien Arts Center, Darien Youth Commission, Darien Historical Society and the Darien/Norwalk YWCA.
She is currently a Community Advisor for the Darien Daily Voice and a board member of the Tree Conservancy of Darien.
Her experience also includes acting as editor of the Darien Hamlethub, a hyper-local website, where she established relationships with many Darien organizations.
She attributes her success to an exceptional work ethic and a focus on customer needs.
Farrell has been part of the advisory committee at St. John Church of Darien and has coached girls basketball through the Darien YMCA for over 10 years. Her three daughters have attended Darien public schools, and she currently lives in town with her husband, Jim, and youngest daughter, Alyssa.
She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, CT State Association of Realtors, Darien Board of Realtors and Darien Multiple Listing Service.
