Young actors will have an opportunity to expand their knowledge of theatre in a safe and fun environment, while trying new things to enhance their abilities. Classes cultivate creativity and perpetuate passion, drive and discovery with a professional staff and exciting curriculum.
Actor's Toolbox is a class for kids in grades 3-5 and is held Thursdays from 3:50-4:50 p.m. with Kids' Theatre Director Heather Kahlert. The classes begin Feb. 2 and go through May 11. Short skits, stage movement, use of props and costumes and developing inner life for actions are explored in this class. Last class will be a showcase for friends and caregivers. The cost is $210.
Creative Dramatics is a class for kids ages 3-5 and is held on Fridays from 2:45-3:45 p.m. with Erika Caputo. The classes begin Feb. 3 and go through May 5. Children learn to use their bodies, voices and imagination with games, rhymes, costumes, puppets and more to discover the magic of performing. The cost is $190.
