Black Rock Turnpike Paving Project Starts

There will be delays on a major area roadway for several days as contracting crews prepare for a road resurfacing project in Redding.

The Connecticut State Department of Transportation has alerted the Town of Redding’s Highway Department that Black Rock Turnpike (Route 58) has will begin a paving project at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24.

Motorists have been advised that they can expect delays and to seek alternate routes, when possible.
