Darien Officials Plan Public Hearing On Proposed Train Parking Lot Changes

DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Board of Selectmen will host a meeting on Monday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m. to discuss potential changes to parking rules at the train station parking lot, according to the Darien Times.

The primary proposal would make the Leroy West Lot for annual permit holders only. Other proposals include a $25 fee for any permit holder who does not pay for their pass on time. Another would be a $10 fee for commuters wanting to stay on the parking permit waiting list, the Darien Times reported.
