Car Theft Suspect Arrested In Darien After Police Pursuit From Stamford

DARIEN, Conn. — One suspect was arrested and others were sought after a stolen car crashed in downtown Darien on Wednesday night after a police pursuit from Stamford, The Darien Times reported.

Stamford police pursued the stolen car along I-95 north and off Exit 11 until the crash in front of the Dunkin' Donuts, the Darien Times said 

Using canines, police from both Darien and Stamford tracked the suspects who had fled after the crash on the Post Road, the Times said. 

Metro-North reported that the trains were delayed after 7 p.m. because of the police activity in the area.
