For the third time in less than three months, a heavy-set white man has burglarized Frate's Wines & Liquors at 1937 Post Road, Darien Police said.

The most recent break-in occurred Feb. 21 at 3:43 a.m., when the suspect smashed the front window with a rock, then quickly removed the cash drawers and fled the scene, police said.

He was described as a white man with a large nose, rough facial features and believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s, police said. The suspect fled in a black or dark-colored four-door mid-size sedan with what appeared to be dark alloy rims.
