Fire Breaks Out At Home On Holmes Avenue In Darien

DARIEN, Conn. -- A family was displaced after a fire broke out at a home on Holmes Avenue in Darien, according to the Darien Times.

Firefighters responded to the home Thursday afternoon and encountered a fire on the porch and in a second-floor bathroom, the Darien Times reported. They were able to contain the fire to those two locations, and broke down walls to get to the second-floor fire, fire officials told the Darien Times.

Officials are investigating the cause of the fire, which is not believed to be weather-related, according to the Darien Times. The family of three who lives in the house was home when the fire broke out, but were uninjured, according to the Darien Times.
