Officers responded to the shopping center at 7:19 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 10 and met with the complainant, who said that the burglary had taken place within the preceding 10 minutes.
The woman said her purse had been taken from the unlocked car while it was parked in the lot. Also taken was a navy blue "Long Champ" nylon backpack valued at $250, car and house keys, $80 in cash, a driver's license and numerous credit cards. Police said there are no suspects at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
