Teenage Girl Punches Victim Several Times In Greenwich Incident, Police Say

A Fairfield County teenager had to be restrained by police after getting into a midday fight in Greenwich.

Officers from the Greenwich Police Department were dispatched to a Hamilton Avenue building on the west side of town shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, where there was a report of a fight that had turned physical between two people.

Upon arrival, police said that it was determined that Stamford resident Emely Rodas, 18, struck her victim in the head repeatedly during the struggle. She was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, a violation. Her victim did not require any treatment for her injuries suffered in the fight. After posting $200 bail, Rodas was released and is due in Stamford Justice Court on Monday to answer the charge.
