The program is intended to teach students the design process by utilizing one on one treatment and shadowing to walk them through every layer of brand-building - logo design, packaging, marketing and more.
CHHS has encouraged all seniors to take part in the internship program, known as CHOOSE.
Student Julia Vindigni participated in the program before heading on to the Fashion Institute of Technology to study design, and she attended a “Profitize Your Small Business” workshop where HVGD owner/lead designer Janeen Violante spoke.
“Through the years my own children went through this internship program at the Croton School District and truly enjoyed the experience while learning valuable real world business lessons,” said Violante.
HVGD has been a part of the Croton business community for over 30 years.
