DARIEN, Conn. -- A threatening message that was rumored to have been on a bathroom wall at Darien High School turned out to be false, according to the Darien Times.

School officials had learned of a rumor that a message reading "Do not come to school on 3/23" had been written on a bathroom boy's bathroom wall, according to the Darien Times. All the bathrooms in the school were searched, but the message was not found, the Darien Times reported.

Administration and police officials conducted a full investigation into the rumors of the message, and interviewed a number of students, the Darien Times said. School officials determined that the rumor was unfounded, and that there was no threat to the school or students, according to the Darien Times.
