Alert Issued For Missing 16-Year-Old From Region Police are asking for help in locating a missing teenager from the region. Rensselaer County resident Joni Crowe, age 16, left her residence in Castleton-on-Hudson at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14. Schodack Police said the teen, who is considered a vulnerable juvenile, was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light blue crop top, dark colored sweatpants, and red and black Crocs. Car Goes Up In Flames On Busy Roadway In Region Smoke was seen on a busy main route in Northern Westchester when a vehicle went up in flames.  The incident happened on Saturday, May 11 around 1:40 p.m., when a car caught on fire on Route 9 southbound in Croton-on-Hudson just south of the pedestrian bridge.  According to the village's fire department, the blaze began in the vehicle's engine compartment and was quickly put out. The car was removed from the road after around an hour. No injuries were reported.
