The New York State Department of Transportation announced that from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., beginning on Monday, Aug. 13, there will be ramp closures on the interstates in Southeast, as contracting crews continue a pavement and resurfacing project in the area. The Monroe Police Department issued an alert on Friday, noting that the closure has been rescheduled for next weekend. Stuck Tractor-Trailer Leads To Road Closures In Westport A busy area road was temporarily shut down on Sunday night when a tractor-trailer got stuck in the roadway. The tractor-trailer was making a turn onto Saugatuck Avenue off of Sunrise Road in Westport at approximately 7:30 p.m., when the driver got stuck, leading to a temporary road closure as crews unloaded the cargo from the back of the truck.
