I-287 Fully Reopens After Gasoline Tanker Fire
This story has been updated. I-287 is now fully reopened after a fire broke out on a gasoline tanker in White Plains. All lanes both ways were initially closed between Exit 9A (I-684) and Exit 9 (Hutchinson River Parkway) after the incident occurred just before 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, leading to the shutdown of the highway in both directions. Serious Injuries Report In Wrong-Way, Head-On Crash On I-91
This story has been updated. A stretch of I-91 has reopened after a head-on crash involving a vehicle going the wrong way causing its closure for hours, state police said. The closure was on the northbound side in Wethersfield between exits 25 and 27 following the two-vehicle crash with what state police described as serious injuries. The crash on the roadway, just south of Hartford, occurred just before 10 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10.

Due to delays in the demolition of St. John’s Tower and a partial collapse on Wednesday, police in Stamford announced a road closure in the area surrounding the construction site. The Stamford Police Department announced that due to the ongoing demolition of the tower, Washington Boulevard is closed north and south between Main Street and Tresser Boulevard.
